Far and wide, Red Raiders are driving innovation and growth.

The RR100 is an annual recognition program founded by the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance that celebrates the fastest-growing businesses owned, led, or founded by Texas Tech alumni. Honorees represent the impact of these alumni on the economy at local, regional, national, and international levels.

Honorees are announced each December in alphabetical order, with numerical rankings revealed at a celebratory event at Texas Tech University.

Nominees for the Red Raider 100 who return will see firsthand the significant progress and development in Lubbock, as well as the continued success and growth of their university.

Red Raider 100 Application Process

Submit a Nomination

All companies must be nominated to be considered for the Red Raider 100. Anyone – alumni, colleagues, or community members – can submit a nomination.

2027 Eligibility

  • Company must have been in business for 5+ years as of December 31, 2025 (cut-off founding date is 1/1/2021).
  • Revenues must be > $100,000 each year from 2023-2025.
  • Must be led or owned by a Red Raider from 2023-2025

Receive Application Details

Nominated companies will be contacted in early fall with instructions on how to complete the application process and submit the required materials.

Provide Business Information

Nominees will submit company and financial information directly to RBMS, LLP, an independent accounting firm, to ensure full privacy and accuracy in the review process.

Honoree Notifications

Companies selected for the Red Raider 100 will be notified in Mid-December 2026, giving them time to prepare for the 2027 recognition event in Lubbock.
